The studio at a glance

One browser tab, four layers. Learn these four and you can find anything.

1. The top bar, always visible. Your round avatar on the left opens the account menu. Home stays fixed beside it. Open projects and Library files, unfinished chooser tabs, and saved split pairs appear across the rest of the bar. Use + to choose what to open.
2. The pane, the main body. It can show Home, the Library, a project surface, a Library file, or the chooser. Split screen gives you two resizable panes. They share the top tab strip and right rail, while each side keeps its own current view and controls.
3. The left rail, the tools of the current view. In a Draft: draft options, My Drafts, Navigation, and the Document Editor. On the Plan: the canvas toolbar. On Home and in the Library: add, search, filter, and sort.
4. The right rail. Companion (when enabled), split or arrange split, browser full screen, Trash, Help, and sync status. Help opens the Help Center or a report form.

The studio teaches itself

Hover controls for short labels and explanations. Draft and Plan also explain their roles from the project’s navigation row.

Saving

There is no Save button in Skrib. The studio saves as you work. The sync status at the bottom of the right rail spins while a change is saving, then shows when it last synced.
