Troubleshooting

  • My work is not syncing. Check Sync at the bottom of the right rail. It spins while saving and shows a check when idle; hover it for the last-synced time. Offline writing is not supported, so reconnect if Skrib shows the offline notice.
  • The canvas moves strangely. Open Settings at the top of the Plan toolbar, choose Auto-Detect, Mouse, or Trackpad, and try the Glide toggle.
  • A file did not import cleanly. Conversion preserves supported structure where possible, but PDF and legacy document formats can need cleanup. Review the result, and send us the source if it looks wrong.
  • Companion is not responding. Usually a model rate limit, a project too large for context, or a network hiccup. Try again, switch models in the picker, or start a new chat.
  • A button says “Feature coming soon.” The control shipped ahead of the feature. It is on the list; nothing is wrong with your account.
  • I cannot create a project. The free plan holds 5, including projects in Trash. Permanently delete one, or upgrade.
  • I cannot find a project. Check the Trash on the right rail. 30 days, one click back.
  • I deleted a draft by mistake. Draft deletion is permanent, so if the dialog was confirmed, it is gone. If any export or duplicate exists, start from that, and tell us what happened; we take this pain seriously.
  • Browser support. Use a current desktop or laptop version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Mobile is not supported yet.

For anything else, open the question-mark menu in the right rail and choose Send report, or write to bugs@skrib.com with the project name, what you were doing, and the last sync time.
